This wine was even better on day two! Paired, believe it or not, with our house chili it truly shine, standing up to the spice with it's powerful berries and stout structure.9

Deep deep purple, cherry berries on nose, deep flavors on palette. Paired beautifully with grilled NY Strip steak--a nice alternative to Cabernets. Great wine...

Enjoyed from magnum at a traditional Thanksgiving dinner with both oven roasted Turkey and spiral ham, etc. Great flavors of black and red berries, but unfortunately not a lot of depth nor complexity. Very good QPR, but ho-hum and slightly simple overall.

Needed a good 90 minute decant to open up and blow off sone barnyard decay. But once it did and esp when coupled with slow cooked lamb shank, it really sang. Not expressive on nose but good weight and body with structure. Dark fruit that’s dense but not plodding. Not a complex structure but very solid now. Drink over coming 2 or 3 years

Not decanted. Consumed over 2 hours. I would recommend to decant it at least 1 hour. Not very complex but a good wine for the money. 90 pts at the moment.

Deep ruby, almost purple. Lots of blue and red fruit and spice. Medium weigh. Very good, only thing is best couple sips are the first couple. Nice finish, just does not get more interesting, and did decline on day 2. Still, for a pop and pour, very well made, pretty typical example of a good, fresh CdP.

Peppery red fruits, a medium body and loads of juicy, fresh, ripe, sweet, black raspberries are what you find here along with more of that herbal infused, peppery, red berry charm.. The wine was made from blending 65% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre and 5% Cinsault.

A bit lacking in depth; bright red fruit on nose and palate, very smooth mouthfeel with integrated tanin. Medium length finish.

Excellent: integrated black cherry and red plum with hints of garrigue; nothing over-baked or jammy or heavy.

Medium bodied (for a CdP), darker red fruits, stones, garrigue. Medium+ finish with some good spice on it.

Surprising amount of tar mixed in with spice on the nose, the syrah component punching above its weight
Traditional grenache on palate, a juicy finish with long tannins
Less immediately approachable than a Wa blend of the same grapes, but opening out nicely after a few hours

From a magnum, popped 'n poured with my wine group. Very young. Those who liked it, really liked it, but not everyone enjoyed it. Great value.
