Fresh and minerally this had textbook characters of greengages, crushed seashells and oatmeal drizzled with melted butter. Beautifully balanced with an excellent length of finish, now drinking at its peak. A fantastic example of entry level Bourgogne from a top class grower. CHP 92 pts

Honeyed greengage fruit developing butter and nuts. It’s fresh, saline and minerally and while there is sweetness on the mid-palate the overall finish is dry and lingers. A very creditable white Burgundy. 90 pts

100% Chardonnay from 3 different "Lieu-Dits" around the village of Meursault: "Les Dressoles" (north side of Meursault); "Les Grands Clous Perrons" (south side of Meursault); "Les Grands Coutures" (south side of Meursault) with clay and limestone soils and vines planted 1948 - 1972. Manual harvest. Fermentation and malolactic fermentation in a combination of barrel and tank. Aged in a mix of 500 and 600 L in used barrels. 13% Abv. This was third bottle drunk since last year and the best. Lovely crisp acidity, needed as it is quite a rich fleshy wine. Good weight and length and so much interest that woudl make a lot of Puligny producers envious.

Great Warehouse Tasting (Chicago, IL): Tasting, brief note. Ripe apple and pear with some sweet spice. Rich with enough weight to retain balance. Almost always one of the best wines at this level, 2015 doesn't disappoint, but is best to enjoy young.

Belle texture assez grasse. En équilibre. Finale gourmande.

Very ripe. A bit heavy but still enjoyable! Best when drank young.

Belle rondeur, sur le fruit, avec une bonne matière, de l'équilibre. Très bien.
