Very nice. I think Charbono is the varietal I've consistently favored from Fratelli Perata. This avoids the heavy extracted and sometimes manipulated feel I get from some of the others. (I've liked their Cab Franc particularly as well.) Ripe and lush with a dusting of earth and herbs and a Zinfandel-like bright berry. Even though it's packed with fruit flavor it is easy at the table, pairing this time with pasta, but I'd say it's versatile and ready for anything hearty. I think this can go on for several more years. 13.1% abv.

Blueberry, ripe dark plum, lush, nice acidity, smooth tannin, and a musty oak finish. Great Pasta wine.

Briny, but otherwise a bit richer than the 2013.
Eat with olives.
