Drank with family, no formal notes. Decanted for about an hour and a half, which really opened it up. Seamless and soft, it's pretty concentrated and drinking real nice. Not sure more aging will improve things.

Part of a Soos Creek night with my wine group. Just a hair behind the 2013 Ciel du Cheval, and maybe just a touch less impressive than previous vintages of Champoux. But still very good with an high QPR! I've scored this bottle higher than my previous ones of this vintage, probably because it was open for more than 2 hours before we served it, and I think the extended time in the open bottle really helped it open up.

Very fruit forward, even at this stage of its development. It tasted much younger than it was. Big fruity nose. I think it is a year or two away from reaching its prime drinking window.

Opened last Thursday and have been working my way through the bottle over the past 5 days. As expected, the wine has gotten better each day. Classic Champoux flavors of black cherries and chocolate. I also pick up some graphite/ pencil lead notes. While enjoyable now, This wine is to young to drink and will be at its best in 5+ years, in my opinion.

Quite a surprise that this bottle too 3 hours to open up and then was very good! Had with chargrilled ribeye.

Delicious wine. Great nose and fruit on the palate. Lots of character, ready to drink now, me thinks.
