Love thous wine. Decanted for an hour, definitely changed over time. Good nose, light fruit. Dark purple color. Had a nice fruit forward, not too jammy feel with great flavors - Flavors of ripe berries, licorice, baking spices and hint of pepper. A real pleasure from a hidden gem winery.

A classic bold Zin nose of dark black cherry and spices, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red, with black cherry, blueberry, vanilla and spice box on long finish. In a good drinking zone. www.winelx.com

Decanted and then consumed over next 2-3 hours. Big wine, with Rich concentrated dark red fruits. Drinks very smooth and easy with lovely, balanced texture. Hint of currant that reminds of cab that is the Jayne hallmark, but still the peppery-ness of a zin. A real pleasure. Decant this zin, and have a glass of something else then enjoy this wine.

This is just a very ripe huge fruit bomb. Black cherries, dried plums, blueberries, and chocolate with floral hints. Absolutely full bodied, it was nearly impossible to drink overpowering any food and almost too rich to drink on its own, and that was true on the second night as well. I will wait several years to try this again, and hopefully it will settle down.

ZAP Simply Summer Celebration, nose of black fruit, pepper, allspice, and a touch of mocha, same on the palate, big body, almost elegant, this vineyard can easily age 12 years in the bottle, a favorite vineyard of mine, needs 3 years to peak drinking window, more Bordeaux like than other Zinfandels tasted today, long, long finish.

Zippy acidity, nice balance, especially after an hour or two.

A really good Zin, big and powerful with a touch of sweetness. We didn't like it as much as the Outpost that was $10 less so not a buyer for us.

Still early for this one. A little confused, short finish. Needs more time in the bottle.
