Consistent with my earlier note. Good at the low end of the high end scale. Lolita is my least favorite of the Martinelli single vineyard pinots, but still provides good evening drinking.

Restores my faith in this cuvee from Martinelli. A little less expensive than their top of the lines (although far from "affordable,") but delivers the flavor, balance and depth you expect from high end pinot. Drink anytime.
dark burgundy red, medium clarity, ruby hue Nose: raspberry, black cherry, licorice, violets, dirt, mint, minerals, touch oak Pal: raspberry, black cherry, licorice, dirt, cola, chocolate, minerals, touch oak Feel: medium, full, savory Finish: medium, long T8 (could be a 7)

KAI: The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are slow. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like raisin. It tastes like raisin and prune. The body is medium. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity. Too sweet for my taste. 6/10
ARS: Smells like red fruit. Is very smooth at first but then too heavy in alcohol as it gets further back on the tongue. The smooth start is a bit sweet and simple. Not my favorite combination of sweet, simple and alcoholic. 6/10

Much more fruit-driven than the 2013 Bondi Pinot, with ripe red raspberry and cherry notes. A good delivery of flavor; a bit simple across the board, especially when compared to the more earthy and complex Bondi. Medium weight, with a more rounded profile overall. Plush and fruity. Drink now and over the next few years.

Drank a 2013 Blue Slide Ridge from magnum last weekend, which underwhelmed me, but this bottle of Lolita was way better.

Large, plush PN loaded with ripe cherry and strawberry fruit flavors with a big finish. A bit over the top for me but my wife loved it.
