From Wente Corton-Charlemagne clones planted in Long Vineyard in Dry Creek. First of all, the color here is hard to believe - light yellow without any gold tinges - this was stored very well but may also have had a big dose of sulfur as there's virtually no oxidation and even faint reductive rubber tire aromatics at times. That said, it's in a delightful point in maturity. Billowing nose of lanolin, cream, lemon, buttered caramel corn, just tons of interest. Palate has great weight without fat and a minerally incisiveness. Excellent, and perhaps the most compelling Kalin I've tasted.
