Very good value. It did not taste like a $10 wine. It punched above its weight. That said, it was a little short and over time did not become more interesting; if anything, it seemed to flatten out. So I would enjoy, drink big glasses, have merriment.
We had it with some pasta with tomatoes, garlic, and sausage and it went quite well with it. This is a good wine made by the Antinori family. There's a good description here: https://www.uritalianwines.com/neprica-puglia-P1390.htm

Certainly a pleasant table wine and a very good value at $10. It was not remarkable, but nor was it offensive. It did gain more savoryness with air. From Puglia.

Ordered a bottle off the list for CAD $35 at Seasons in the Park, Queen E Park in Vancouver. No decant: none needed. Darker purple; fragrant red fruit; black cherry, ripe plum, very good mouthfeel; some persistence. Delicious with grilled pork chop, duck confit; enjoyed by all. Bought the same wine 2 years ago--same place, same price, still a winner. Popular local restaurant pricing is double gov store price: if I could find this in the gov store, I'd buy several, given limited local choices. Goes for US $8-9 at Total Wine in the US. My evaluation: For me, scores on a "100-point scale" are misleading. I use a 4-category scale (perhaps with +/-)--not including flawed--which runs outstanding/notable/drinkable/poor. This is notable+ when considering quality, age, and Canadian restaurant price.

What a surprise! For a $10 bottle of wine, this wine was certainly delicious. Nice bodied, some tannins, some fruit, made for a very good glass of wine. I did not rate it a 90 because it lacked complexity. But at $10 it is an absolutely steal!

One of the best Italiaan reds you can get for this price point. Deep dark Ruby, briar, Earth, notes, warm red fruit with hint of chocolate, solid finish!

Definitely a softer style than the 2014 but lacking some character (in my opinion) as a result. Dry, a little savoury, but understated to a fault. Bitter herbal edge late. Has some old world Puglia class but modest.

Still drinking well. Ruby colored. Notes of prune, plums, hawberry. Smooth tannins at this point in the game. Delicious.
