Drank well, hardly changing over a week. Medium weight with firm acidity and notable cling of texture. Pear nose and mouth with some apricot as well. Neither abrupt nor long and resonating finish, with a quinine and tart quality. Rustic in a good way.

Very pale straw. A delicate perfume of white jasmine, ripe pear and chalkiness. An almost sweet entry into a soft palate where white fleshed orchard fruits and fresh acidity surround a center of robust minerals. The long finish is redolent of elderflowers. Excellent.

Light, slightly green tones yellow colored wine with a fragrant floral nose. The palate is more rich, dense and viscous than it looks with a smokey apple, lemon and mineral expression. Acidity is quite high with the resulting slightly effervescent feel on the tongue at first taste. Finish is rather long with the floral and chalky minerals dominant. Can use either or both some time in the cellar or the decanter. Quite good and an interesting varietal to try.

Aromatically complex. Herbaceous, basil, honeysuckle, white peach, lime, flint.
Med plus plus acidity and dry. Big fruity profile. Asian pear, green apple, lime, with minty uplift.
This is a superb summer quaffle. Amazing value and uniquely Finger Lakes with vibrant acidity and immense mineral profile (though the grape variety came from Republic of Georgia). 89.

PnP at cellar temperature. Pours almost clear with some tan highlights. Great nose exhibiting apple blossom, pear, hairspray, lime zest, and a "leesy" secondary characteristic. Precisely cut on the palate with acidic apple, lime zest, and cleansing acid. Great balance between high acid and the slightly oily mouthfeel. The acid carries this wine into a lime-driven, medium(+) length finish.
Even better than the excellent 2015 rendition of this grape. The 2016 vintage is shaping up to be excellent in the Finger Lakes! This particular example suggests that the wine may endure and evolve through 2021+. "Excellent," 91/100.

Still fresh and bright. Nice alternative to typical whites.
