This was excellent village level wine; the nose was explosive right off the bat with rich dark fruits of plum, black currant, black raspberry, lifted floral notes, and lovely hints of spice and game. The palate has very good concentration and perfect balance. The depth and finish are top notch for the level. Killer value for Burgundy

From .375. Better than my last couple of bottles, but this is still probably not the best vintage for Harmand, whose 2014s and 2016s I really liked. The nose has some very nice red cherry fruit, but the finish just shows too much alcohol. A harbinger for some 2015 red burgundy, I expect.

A touch of the 2015 heat on this, and less acidity than I’d hoped for. Perhaps I’ll decant the next one, but another 2015 showing less well than I’d hope.

This really needed a decant, but it didn't get one this time. Nevertheless, after a few minutes of air, it really started to strut its stuff. Fantastic wild strawberry, a touch of Gevrey earthy funk. Great acidity, excellent palate depth. This is better than a bunch of Gevrey 1ers I've had. Yum. While this will clearly better with some age, it's going to be hard to not drink.

Ripe, rich and earthy with a bit of spice and a satiny texture and sufficient acidity. I was pleasantly surprised by how well this young wine showed. It may shut down, but tonight it was very enjoyable.

Pretty tight with enamel pealing acidity after 4h decanting (though did enjoy a glass with pasta curls in creamy peas and morel sauce). Three days corked in fridge and pure fruit with nice balance and fine tannin. Quite nice. Not a lot of Burg experience but if scoring, 91+.

I love this producer. Decanted, as they suggest; notes from 2.5 hrs open. This is a spectacular btl of wine. On the nose, Gevrey earth, a touch of reduction, some va inflected wild strawberry tones, which are so compelling, a hint of ripe green stems? On the palate, acidity is on point, more wild strawberry, excellent density, soil tones, beautiful spicy notes, and just a beautifully refined finish, showing elegant, and finely grained tannin, and a slowly building spice.

Dark ruby colour, medium to full bodied wine with cherry flavour. Had with medium rare prime rib. Really enjoyed this wine.

In a difficult spot. Disjointed.

Bright red cherries and tart. Bit of a bite of harshness there. Not bad, but not a lush and easy-drinking 15' either. May improve with time.

A good old school wine. Opened up as I drank the 375 bottle. Last sip after 2 hours was the best.

solid village level GC. Slightly darker and less ripe profile than I'm used to for 2015
