Medium ruby in the glass with garnet hues. Big reduction on the nose, but blows off after 30 minutes opening up to notes of curry leaf, raspberry, plum and blackcurrants. Medium-bodied, but rich in fruit with moderate acidity. The alcohol is punchy, but balanced. Quite a nice Pinot, but not overly complex or long.

Getting a rusty color. Still good, maybe at or beyond its peak

Good basic pinot noir. A bit tart.

Better as a pop and pour, nice pinot ‘funk’ and balanced

Earthy, musty barn, plum, dried fruit on the nose. Smooth, balanced and easy drinking PN. Lacks the complexity of some of the other Chamisals.
