★★★½ First tasting at the wine salon We start our wine tasting day with a small German dry Riesling. Very lively and fruity. I would say it would be perfect for a beautiful summer day. You have to be careful with German rieslings, sometimes they are dry, sometimes they are sweet... The day begins in a very pleasant way. I hope to make some great discoveries

Fantastic QPR, full of zing and excitement with a real rush of crushed marl amidst the green apple and jasmine mid-palate. Really wets the palate without being aggressive. The perfect summer aperitif.

Rheingau - visiting Leitz & Breuer (Rudesheim): {screwcap, 12%, €9} A Rheingau-wide blend. Good example of the region at its most basic; gentle sweet apple aromas, with a crisp dry, almost steely mouthfeel, with a touch on lemon on the finish giving a bit of tang. Fresh, clean; has a tiny bit of RS I think but not noticeably sweet. Fine for the price.

Citrus and green apple. Great aperitif, would also work with steamed mussels.

Odd metallic note on the nose, piercing acidity on the palate, fresh and bright, a little simple. 84-86
