2015 Bourgogne AC blind (Chicago, IL): Served single blind. This had a nice dose of spiciness, as well as a crunchy profile that seemed to accentuate the black fruit more than red. There's a nice touch of earthiness here as well, and the spice seems to lead me a bit to Vosne. While the fruit concentration would make you think this has a heavier profile, the acidity helps keep this from actually feeling heavy.

The wine looks garnet colored. It smells like strawberry, red currant and raspberry. It tastes like strawberry, raspberry, red currant and burnt. The body is light/medium. Good light typical soft texture if burgundy and with decent finish for that wine. The wine is already approachable today and will probably developed in the next two years. Not to be kept for more than 5 years.

Killer QPR. Had to keep looking at the bottle to make sure this was only the bourgogne.
