This is drinking beautifully right now. Excellent accompaniment to Beef Tips and Broccoli at Park House Eatery, University Heights, San Diego. I would say this is right in the middle of its drinking window, should last another 5 years but no need to wait. I still have one bottle in reserve then it's gone. Tannins resolved, long finish, plenty of fruit remaining, just an all around delightfully delicious bottle of Syrah. One of the better examples I've experienced in the last 50 years.

This has improved since I last opened a bottle. An hour breathing helps, 2 might help more. A big full bodied Syrah, well integrated flavors, no signs of age. Should hold for another 5 years easily. Was a nice accompaniment to a Filet Mignon, Grilled Asparagus, Caesar Salad & roasted baby red potatoes. Enjoy at your leisure. Also a stand alone sipper if that's what you're looking for. Should go great with strong cheeses.

Drinking very well right now, will probably hold for a few more years. I let breathe for an hour an consumed over another hour, would probably benefited from a longer breathing time. No hurry to drink these but very enjoyable now.

Agree with the previous taster - A ton of sediment in this wine. Typical California Syrah, but a little more balanced in terms of wood, earth and fruit/sugar. This was a nice pick-up at 60% off of the CT community value. Worth every penny.

PnP. Still a dark ruby core, no sign of age, but a fair amount of sediment. Blueberries, alcohol, oak spice, brownies. Full-bodied palate, skews toward round, but not flabby. Flavors of red and blue berries, cured meat, tart, acidic, long finish. In a really great place at the moment. Drink thru 2016, 14,7% abv, A-
