A stellar representation of Pinot Meunier and the complexity that evolves from aging. It showed beautiful baked red fruits with spices and smooth tannins that contributed to a long finish. Totally need another bottle.

Wow. Gorgeous, Pinot Noir-like nose. Strawberries and cream combined with a lovely loamy, mushroomy, earthy base, potpourri - dried flowers for days, fresh cut grass in the hot sun, nice warm oak spice well handled. Palate is beautifully juicy, nicely resolved tannin - supple, fine leather - beautifully balanced, long, and very, very, pretty. Likely at peak now and for the next couple years. Gorgeous, just gorgeous. 14.1%

A leaner, attractive twist on pinot noir. Restrained palette of plum, cranberry, with a hint of black pepper, with generous acidity and a lively mouthfeel. Benefits from several hours of air.

Pale, translucent lavender rim, with a strawberry and cola nose. Lean, creamy cranberry palette, with black pepper, savory tannins, and a racy acidity. Beautiful coastal expression of a distinctive, medium-bodied single varietal. Young wine, with its best years still ahead.

Clear purple-lavender, with slight bricking. Palette is an elegant, med-body-plus, with deep plum, cranberry, and black pepper. Silky tannins, balanced acidity, and a unexpectedly long and sustained finish. This is a delicious varietal, beautifully made and drinking well at five years. Structured for years of great drinking ahead.

Exquisite, purple lavender in the glass, with a touch of barnyard that faded after a 3-hour decant. A palate of cracked black pepper and dried cherry cola, with soft tannins and a silky, saline acidity. This distinctive coastal red is drinking beautifully, and 2014 is Flowers' best Pinot Meunier to date.

This was really good. Fresh, orange peel, cinnamon spice, cranberry and a short earthy finish
