Sense it might be fading now, but rewarded us very nicely over 3+ years, sad to see WTSO no longer offering this special value play, truly hard to beat this QPR anywhere after sampling over multiple vintages. Drink now - 2021.

Has really improved since last bottle (notes on 11/3/17). No frizzante qualities this time and the acids are now well integrated. Good pairing with an Alfredo chicken pizza. Now 89+ points. Glad to have two more bottles for when the weather warms here. Winter sucks.

No formal notes on this one. Not as put-together and complex as the '15 Domaine Chene (...at least not yet?), but still very enjoyable. Spiced peach, apricot, and some toasted nuts. Middle-of-the-road structure but with good texture. "Very good," 88/100.

Nose: Similar toasty cornbread aromas found on other vintages of this. Palate: As others have noted there is a touch of frizzante on this but it's very subtle. Good acid levels and light lemon qualities. Really balanced and pleasant Macon that is a stable in my cellar for easy drinking whites, and at only $13/bottle from WTSO a solid QPR. Will buy more if it swings around again.
Still with the youthful spritz but this seems to have gained a half measure of weight over the past few months. Sporting a similar honey dipped pear and melon base as the '15 but with a lighter breezy style.
Drink, hold, do whatever you like as this is charming now, though more richness and weight may yet develop. And if the spritz isn't your thing, a couple good bottle shakes and you're good to go.

Retasted 8/21/18. Again, intense peach/pear fruit stands out, leading one to think viognier, not Mâcon chardonnay. But it's a really nice wine. Very enjoyable, especially for the price.
Retasted 3/10/18 — I have sampled this wine (imported by Votto Vines) several times, and it has finally dawned on me that it tastes more like a Viognier than Mâcon chardonnay. It's a nice wine but hardly indicative of Mâcon. Not sure what's going on here, but I plan to do a little sleuthing to find out.
1st impression — 6/7/2017 — Domaine Chêne produces some of my favorite "little" Mâcons. Pale gold with a surprisingly fruity nose of Viognier-like melon. Young, undeveloped flavors at first, but with air a nice creamy feel emerges due to the malolactic. Needs time. Interesting to taste this after having sampled an '11 Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet the night before. Same grape from different areas and both enjoyable in their own unique ways. But is the price difference worth it? It depends upon whether one drinks wine or labels....
Much lighter and more concise than the '15 at this point. Also not as cumbersome, nor delicious. Similar honey drenched profile though. A touch spritzy. Ridiculously young. Drinks like a vinho verde now. May add flesh over 6-12 months, but if not it is still a tasty summer quaffer.

Definitely sweeter than a typical Macon. As another reviewer mentioned, feels more Viogner than Chard. Still pretty enjoyable.

PnP at room temperature. Previous note is still accurate. Mouthfeel is great on this wine, especially given the price point. "Very good," 89/100.

Sweeter and richer than I remember with honey, pineapple, tropical fruits. Excellent value.
