Very young Bordeaux and dark ruby in colour! Nose of toasted nuts and sumptuous cranberry red fruits! Smoky palate and mouthful of ripe red fruits along with a hint of sweetness, tight, a touch youthful and linear, more development is expected! A good couple of hours of breathing is needed if you have to drink it now. Rumours told the wine is made by Chateau Beychevelle! Not sure about that but the quality of the wine is without doubt, very good!

This bottle was a bit warm and we were outside at a BBQ. I think this wine shows better at a cooler temperature. Still a nice everyday Bordeaux and a reasonable value. Mostly Merlot and blended for early development.

Recent Bordeaux Arrivals (Fine Wines of Stockton): Medium dark color withripe but restrained aromatics, not really anything particularly distinctive. In the mouth good acidity, full body and some soft tannins, really rather drinkable now. Overall nicely developed and ready.

A private lunch (Restaurant Noble *, Den Bosch, NL): Merlot dominated, creamy texture, gentle tannins, ripe fruit and spices, gravelly warmth, good length.
