88 points - Kind of ordinary, but decent balance. Definitely a weeknight wine. Maybe I’m in a different state of mind than when I last drank this, but didn’t impress.

Drank (from 375) on a basic Sunday night. Great choice when you want a nice half bottle. Good balance and flavors. Nothing particularly notable, but easy drinking.

2 hour decant (mag decanter). Very similar to notes on 2/2/20 but now more softened and evolved. Now 90+ points. Glad to have 4 more left in the cellar.

Takes a little to open up. Muted nose with a touch of currant and plum. Nice mouthfeel with some dark fruits (however nothing pronounced), a bit of pepper, and some eucalyptus maybe. Not a particularly layered or nuanced wine but it's good. Still has fairly grippy tannins that should fade with time. Drank out of a 375ml stelvin bottle.

I picked this up for $15.99 on closeout..going for $37+ everywhere... 2hr slow ox....really solid nose cocoa, cream, black cherry, but notes of black mineral the palate is big juicy, but has some sharpness, really tasty because it's edgy, smells almost chilean, spicy, bold yet cream, not heavy spicy Blackfruits on palate , is it big Napa fruit but im getting blue fruit on nose, some alcohol but it's made well enough it's not a bother... I don't drink Napa cabs but this is super legit ,bit of power..I dig it...this isn't "soft" and that's for the better imo

Nose: Vanilla, cherry, red fruit, slight hints of green bell pepper Palette: Much less fruit than on the nose, spicy oak and tannins, chocolate, dark cherry
Paired very well with steak

Classic cab. All the right notes - green pepper, graphite, solid body, tannins. Slight sweetness & tang at the end. Might not drink without food, but very nice with it.

2 1/2 hours decant (mag decanter). Nose: Fair amount of new oak on pop & pour but after decant shows bramble blackberry qualities and hints of melted butter. Palate: Nice tannins with blackberry and a long finish. Not the most complex Cali Cab but for the steal price I paid....very solid.

Consistent with my previous notes but rating higher, the layers are coming out more fully now.

Still strong. Nicely balanced after 30-45 mins, plum, cocoa, brown sugar. Very enjoyable.

Nose: dark cherry & plum w/ a slight hint of chocolate
Palette: black berries & chocolate, slight smokiness
Good tannins, not too long on the finish. Taste doesn’t sit long. Great value.

Nice balance. A bit on a light site. Not too tanny. A bit earthy. Very nice for the price.
