This is a fabulous Cab. I happened to have a day-old bottle of 2018 Sling & Spear that I compared it to. Amazing difference, where the S&S is much more fruit-forward (though not to the degree of cough syrup as some can be) while the Quixote has a lovely older style that is still powerful with lovely complexity.

This has improved in the past year since the last bottle I drank. We really enjoyed this wine--it was nicely balanced and not too tannic. I would say it's just hitting its stride.

This wine has the potential for a 92-93 point score from me but it's a bit too young right now. It was fairly tannic and closed and even after an hour of decanting we still thought it was a bit disjointed. Hold for 3-4 more years.

Barrel-tasted at the winery, this inky Cabernet presents an intense profile of black currants, bramble fruits, exotic spices, minerals and toasted oak. Fresh, firmly tannic and with seamless alcohol, is is lush on the mid-palate and finishes very long. The substrate is here for this to ultimately become something special. 91-93 points.

Delicious and well polished, was the first thought that came to me. Wish I had more to drink over the next few years

Quite good at the discounted price paid compared to list. Plenty of ripe red fruit. Integrated tannins. Drink now.
