This is a fantastic wine for the money, just £7 here in the UK. Medium ruby colour. Plums and jammy fruit on the nose. Dark berry fruits on the palate, so smooth and very long. This demonstrates the quality from Portugal and its great value for money. Well deserves the 90 score I've given it. Even better on the second evening.

Color: Transparent ruby, with a purpleish hue. Nose: Red berries. Mouth: Very expressive. Raspberries, pomegranate and a hint of wild herbs. Stylewise like a Beaujolais and aromawise like a wine from the South of France.

Pretty typical of an Alentejano field blend. Medium ruby in the glass, earthy nose, palate is balanced with soft tannins and acidity, fruits trend tart, with cherry, berry, currant, hint of anise and earth, satisfying finish. Nice everyday no fuss house wine. Great QPR.

Tannins: too forward and imbalanced (too much for the fruit)
Fruits: light
Finish: gone before it starts.
Easy to drink but thoroughly unsatisfying. Regret getting 6. Tried over a year or two - no improvment.

Started high acid & cherries like an Italian red, but softened over time. Very nice, easy drinking but a little short.

A little flat. Has some cherry and vanilla. Maybe a little tobacco.
