Most beautiful was the color - a brilliant green-tinted pale golden color. The nose and taste fresh, mineral, Granny Smith apple tart, the edges polished smooth. Easy to drink, the soft acidity contrasting well with the richness of pan roasted salmon.
Nothing complex here, but very fine in its simplicity.

A great accompaniment to grilled swordfish on a summer evening. Plenty of light fruit and balanced acdity. Light gold/straw color lots of life in the glass.

It,s in a good, drinkability window and better than their 2015 Meursault. Nuances of citrus, butter, chalk, with wonderful toffee elements upon second pour. Flavor is medium bodied with peach, yellow apple fruits. Ample acidity and Malo suffciently tamed. Really over delivers and should be ordered if you love both White Burgundies and California Chardonnays!

This wine continues to drink well. My opinion has not changed since my first note about this wine in 2017. The color is light straw. There is a mild floral bouquet. The flavor has slight mineral tones and citrus. It is nicely balanced and very easy to drink

Popped and poured out of the wine fridge after TWO OTHER BOTTLES were flawed. Once again, burgundy is failing us - first with a premoxed 2008 Chassagne Montrachet and then with a flat and lifeless 2011 NSG. Why do I torture myself with this stuff?
This, on the other hand, works. Wine is a clear and bright lemon color, medium-low concentration.
On the nose, nicely aromatic. A touch of reduction gave way to grapefruit, passionfruit, citrus, and sort of a granite mineral.
On palate, wine is sound (*huzzah!*). Medium-high acid, medium alcohol, long finish. Restrained attack with grapefruit predominant, melon, super long finish with some malolactic notes. Not terribly complex, but nicely constructed.
This is a really nice wine, and it makes me wonder if the quality control at the negociants is just better than from the smaller producers. Either way, I am really turned off Burgundy at this point. When the bottles cost $80 and you have to buy two for every one that isn't flawed, why the hell bother?

Only about 800 cases a year. Mersault is more like 1,800 cases. Here two grand crus and seven vineyards but on the Puligny side they don't own any vineyards so this is all bought grapes. Crisper than the Meursault, and bigger on the palate with its structural elements. Exactly the same wine making as the MEursault.

Though a village level wine, this is a lovely montrachet. The color was straw. This was a subtle bouquet. The flavor had mineral tones and citrus. It was easy to drink. In fact my wife and I drank the entire bottle in one evening which is unusual for us. We usually have a bottle last for two days. In my opinion the wine is better slightly cooler than room temperature but not refrigerated.

Served too cold. Nose of crushed rocks, wilted lemon, touch of slow-roasted garlic, then white flowers as it warms, with delicate round deep notes of oak and alcohol at the end. Nice crispy acidity and minerality with green apple on the palate. Bit of oaky notes and spices emerge later. This will be good, but not ready for business yet. Gets more buttery as it warms.
