Pretty good QPR on this after a few years of age. Still has a tannic grip, but some of the secondary aromatics typical of Bordeaux are starting to show through. Fruit flavor may die off before the tannins are fully resolved, but good for a few more years at least.

Opened this bottle and drank it with friends. found it quite pleasant but nothing to brag about. The wine had an earthy taste to it and was easy enough to drink.

After an hour the nose opens up revealing cherry, tobacco and even a slight gamey note. The tannins dominate the palate, has good acidity, and dark fruit which combine for a long finish.

Dark, solid red brick colour; slight purple on edges. Blueberries on nose maybe even a meaty note with a slight tabacco. Big tannis with balancing acidity. Nice dryness with a touch of oak. Long length. Peppery, black fruits and leather.

Surprisingly good generic Bordeaux that has a nice nose of berries and tobacco. Mouthfeel is also nice and smooth and taste is in good balance. 2005 vintage is really showing its strenght in these lower-end offerings. Needs about an hour of air to develop its bouquet.

Opened this for a dinner, none of the crew are much of a Bordeaux fan, all thought this was interesting. This bottle, getting a nose full of cherries and some tobacco. On the palate a very smooth, well intergated wine, fruit and tannins are weaved rtogether in an interesting way, acid is well balanced, not a bad Bordeaux for the price.

Very beautiful nose of cherries and vanilla notes. Medium body, great structure and harmony. Great mouthfeel from very balanced soft tannins, clean fruit and well matching acidity levels. An outstanding Bordeaux for €5. A great wine for everyday food pairing. Wish I had bought more. Drink now.

Difficult to do it justice. Somehow diluted. Is it meant to be like this or not?

OK early drinker. Needs some air. Not surprisingly MUCH better than the 2007 also tasted.

Slightly closed and a bit of a damp fruit nose. Slightly harsh. Perhaps needed to breath longer.
