- Yellow color with slow forming legs. It's unbalanced with a light/medium body. Round texture with a short finish - Probably drank too late. Still buttery, but a bit bitter. It got better letting it open up for 20 minutes to an Oak Chard.

An Old School big, buttery, oaky CA chardonnay, that's a bit flabby and unbalanced in my book. Melon and pear fruit, with low acidity and medium length finish that may appeal to those who like this style.

A good Chardonnay, as is to be expected from Patz & Hall. A balance between rich and buttery, on one hand, and zezty-fruity, on the other. But not, I must admit, my favourite. Not sure it's quite worth the money. Very good to excellent (87.5).

A nice fusion of Californian and French styles with a ripe, concentrated nose of butter and yellow apples. On the palate this is round, plush, and almost indescribably soft, with a gentle acidity.

Rich over the top California chardonnay. Worth a repeat at the price (given the competition). Definitely not the all night wine, just a starter. Too flabby to hold up for more than a glass or two.

A moderately rich lemon-butter style Chard with a few nuances to keep it interesting and just enough cut and length to offset a nuanced, nutty sweetness. The nose was better than the taste. Nice wine.

Popped and poured. Initially a light melon nose, crisp in the mouth though not bright more rich mouthfeel. After about 45 minutes the nose developed a very interesting smoky note, mouth of melon, pear and fig.

Disclaimer, this was a gift at a bbq at my house, brought chilled, stuck in the ice tub outside then later put in the cellar and drank a couple days later. Don't know if that could have affected it, but...
Not my style, very opulent with rich pear flavors and some tropical melons to go with too much buttery toasty oak. Found the acidity to be a bit low, with flabby mouthfeel. No flaws, just not my thing. Finish had nice length.

Nice white fruit, pear, melon with buttery oak, nice finish. A little out of balance but not a bad chard. Probably not worth $35 though.

Peaches, pears and apricots on the nose. Medium body with high acidity, buttery at first then citrus, lemons at the end of the medium length finish.

Citrus, Crisp and refreshing very light Chardonnay. Much less oak used than with their Dutton version.
