Nose of kirsch, cinnamon, and black cherry. Big palate with cherry, sour cherry, and cranberry followed by loads of zippy acidity, adding iodine and layers of earth. Nice tannins with red fruit, black cherry, and clay on a long finish. Wish I'd bought more.

Color: dark ruby Nose: blackberry, blueberry jam, plum. Spices and vanilla, definitely important barrel influence. Caramelized beef and a little tomato concentrate Palate: medium acidity, alcohol pretty prominent at 14.5 and one can feel it. Balance is good, though tannins are a little shy and structure is not towering. Sweet mouth as well. I feel a lot of barrel influence here Finish: medium-long
I'm not a fan of the genre but this is a well-made wine, all played on dark fruit and spice. Went well with steak, needed 2 hours of air, and definitely will be better in 5 years. $36 well spent here.

Delicious now, but young and will improve with much more time. The bouquet is stunningly voluptuous. Bright, sour cherries predominate the red fruits and combine with hints of leather, tobacco juice, oak, and bountiful garrigue. IWR's and FM1488's tasting notes are accurate, but this hasn't yet reached a 94; however, it can and likely will given more cellar time. Hold until 2025.

Nose of bark, sassafras, iron, and hints of lavender. Vibrant rush of cherries and roses followed by pepperiness and a then a meaty, sour plum note. Pliant tannins with light garrigue, red fruit, clay and lingering energy.

The 2015 'Cuvée Privilege' is absolutely sensational in the vintage. It begins is wonderful aromas of black cherries and raspberry cordial woven together with spices, pepper and a touch of lavender. Full and round on the palate, this possesses wonderful concentration and depth, with a mix of red and dark fruits. There is a gorgeous seamless quality that makes it inviting to approach at this early stage. Delicious now, but give it a few more years.(Best 2018-2032)

Very nice wine. Dark and full body. Bouquet screams strawberries, chocolate and hints of spice. Same flavors carry through the the palate. While not overly complex with tons of things going on, it doesn't need to be. This wine doesn't hide things. IT knows what it is and doesn't hide.

Dark and brooding color. Quintessential CdP nose of black, blue and red fruits and sweet oak. Fruit forward on the attack. Medium weight on the palate and finish. Very food friendly, and quite enjoyable. Another great value at Costco!

Floral notes bring a lot to the cherry and kirsch on the front end. Lush, sweet, fresh and loaded with juicy, vibrant, red fruits. The finish has sticking power. The inclusion of white wine grape varieties add aromatic complexities and more roundness to the finish.

Simple, fruit forward, tart cherry, nice acidity. Drinking nicely right now. Not sure it has the structure to improve.
