Tasting this at 5 years of age and am really surprised by its viability. Definitely a warm-climate Sauvignon Blanc, slightly herbal with some grass but not overpowering in varietal character like the Sauvignon Blancs from the Loire, New Zealand and Chile. Still, there's plenty of acidity. As one might expect, the wine fades by the next day opened.

Someone had brought this bottle to my house at a party some time ago and I just threw it in the wine fridge. Well I decided to make a large pot of mussels and needed wine so I figured this would be the perfect time to use the bottle. While the majority went into cooking I did take a small glass to try. This is a nice crisp SB with flavors of crisp apples. For the price you cannot go wrong.

One dimensional sav blanc. Not sure why or who put this in my cellar, but there is a reason I don’t buy it. Nose is fairly non existent. Some light fruit. Grapefruit and citrus notes on the front and mid palate. Almost bitter. Short alcoholly finish. ...I guess it’s better than malt liquor.

Nose: Bouquet of flowers, honey, apple, plums Palate: Bland but sweet, some honeysuckle. Mid-low acidity. Light bodies, good to enjoy on a sunny day outside with pistachios.
