Clear pale straw yellow colour Reticent nose of ripe honeyed melon, a touch of lychee and floral undertones Off-dry at 9 g/L sugar level, low acidity (might be overwhelmed by the sweetness), medium bodied, short finish Rather lack of characters; surprising to have so much residual sugar at 13.5% alcohol

Sealed under screwcap this wine is ripe but also fresh and full of vitality. There are aromas of honeysuckle, custard apple and spiced pear. It is full and rich, layered with flavour and finishes with some salty mineral.

OK with spicy foods otherwise impossibly sweet.

No apparent problem with the cork but definitely had oxidized; still could be tasted but whatever was there was gone. Too bad.

One dimensional fruit forward bottle with just enough acidity to not come across as flabby.

A little bit sweet, but very good. Rich and flavorful with a good finish.

The largest grand cru holder in Alsace. Dry but a little bit of RS on it I am being told. And that is the case. Fine at $19 but not much more.
