Great dusty nose and strong front of palate with tart cherry. Very bright. Doesn’t have a strong finish which is a bummer. But leaves you ready for the next sip. Nice stand alone wine

Lovely wine. Needs some air to blossom but rewards with plenty of ripe fruits in a velvet blanket. Lots of present as well as refined structure. Will age really well

Decanted. For first 1.5 h, beeswax aromas dominate everything with maybe a hint of fruit. Palate has tart red cherries and unripe plums. Now almost 3h decant, beeswax aromas still dominate but more fruit coming through. Palate has juicy ripe black cherries and plums, herbs, some earth with good moderate mid-palate tannins. Really nice depth - closer to the weight of syrah than most gamay. Nice long finish. This definitely an ager. 91 for now. On D3 (skipped day 2), beeswax aromas are still very present with maybe some more fruit flavors. Palate intensity has mellowed in amplitude but the fruit is still very much present whereas the other savory elements are not more in the background. Still very good but I opened this way too soon.

This was flawed - hard and harsh I’ve had it before where it was very fruity. Too bad - Perhaps bottle variation

Lovely Beaujolais. Very fruit driven but also lots of structure mellowed by some ripeness.
