Very faded pale burnt sienna color; Lovely aromatics; pot pouri, caramel note, savory, even small red berry fruit still present; a little leather, coffee, and distinct spiciness in the finish. Subtle metalic minerality and an obvious spicy finish. Really elegant, lovely nose, and pretty character. This is not going to improve, and is clearly at or past its prime, but I don't think will die any time soon. With "quatre epice" duck confit and was a perfect match.

A nice dinner with some great wines (Northern Ohio): Light, amber color. Very feminine pretty old strawberry nose with some weedy vegetal aromas. Light, but perfumed and with mature sous bois, spicy Vosne notes, and characteristic DRC red cherry fruit and stems. Hard tannins won't soften in time, but a really enjoyable wine from a maligned vintage.

PNP really gorgeous sois bois nose, lots of cherries and strawberries. Well structured secondary flavours. Probably at its apogee now

Totally underwhelmed. Light body. Red rust. Sour cherries. At Knick with Sols.

A lovely, mature, almost fading lady. Sweet strawberry and rose petals, light, pale, with lovelyy RSV aromatics. I will miss her

Visit to Domaine de la Romanée-Conti (Burgundy, France): Light in colour - floral nose, with some vegetal aromas. Easy on the palate - leathery texture - some finesse - lighter finish.
