By the glass. Too expressive on the palate for my liking at this moment but once it suffocates a bit it will be a very worthy representative of the Priorat. Memories of red and black licorice on the nose along with notes of slate and new wood. Tasty and very long in the mouth. It's not bad at all.
Por copas. Demasiado expresivo al paladar para mi gusto en estos momentos pero una vez que se sofoque un poco será un muy digno representante del Priorato. Recuerdos a regaliz rojo y negro en nariz junto con las notas de pizarra y de la madera nueva. Sabroso y muy largo en boca. No está nada mal.

Still excellent in a difficult vintage. Mix of red and black fruits. Medium concentration in the mouth. The wood dominates in the finish. Well made but lacking fruits and concentration. Pass.

Eðalklúbbur, sumarsmakk 2019 (Marbakkabraut 12): Ríflega meðaldökkt á litinn. Ferskur, flottur og glæsilegur ilmur. Blóm og lím áberandi. Flottasti ilmur kvöldsins. Kirsuber á tungu. Dökkir tónar og smá vottur af bruna. Flott sýra og jafnvægi. Geggjað vín! Eini gallinn er verðmiði upp á tæpar 80€.

Color cereza intenso bien brillante, ribete violáceo intenso, capa alta y fina lágrima tintada. En nariz es exuberante y muestra una magnífica intensidad de aromas de fruta madura con predominio de fruta del bosque con las moras carnosas bien maduras, los arándanos azules, la mermelada de grosellas negras que aporta robustez al conjunto, elegantes tostados de la barrica francesa que se muestran bien presentes y contundentes, sensaciones avainilladas y de canela en rama que aportan elegancia, los aromas de especias en granos y clavo seco son muy fragantes, ligeros y frescos balsámicos que aligeran el peso de la barrica y la marcada presencia de la fruta negra confitada, la intensa mineralidad de la pizarra aporta frescura y complejidad a un conjunto intenso lleno de matices que a medida que la botella se mantiene abierta o decantada se van conjuntando y mostrándose como un bloque sólido y potente. En boca tiene una entrada bien contundente y una astringencia firme y algo contundente, buen recorrido con cuerpo y estructura pero bien equilibrado con unos tostados carnosos aún por integrarse, fruta negra bien madura y en compota con ciertas sensaciones cítricas que aligeran el peso del conjunto, notable acidez, voluminoso y magnífica amplitud, fibroso y loable longitud con una golosa textura que transmite muy buenas vibraciones en su larga persistencia con un final muy sabroso. Bien largo y postgusto de fruta negra madura y retronasal mineral y de tostados finos. Una añada que tiene que decir pero deberá esperar a que sus hermanos más antiguos lleguen a su punto óptimo para darle su momento.

The very expressive nose shows a remarkable elegancy with interwoven touches of chocolat, ripe black and red berries, eucalyptus, licorice and subtile spices. In the mouth we find a fresh and elegant wine that still is very rich and full bodied with aroma's of ripe fruit. The tannins are velvety. This great wine shows a beautiful fine acidity which give him an enormous potential.
