Clearing out some old bottles in my cellar and was afraid that this one may be beyond its prime. Was surprised to find that it was decent; not great but good. A bit heavy for a Pinot but better than being tastless which was what I was concerned about given that it's getting a bit long in the tooth. Smooth with decent fruit and tannins. Nice legs and nice finish.

This was very mellow. probably past it's peak. I thought it was a little flat, nothing special. My wife liked it better than I did. It was a little better the next day. But to me it wasn't worth the price.

Day1- Purplish red rim. Slightly earthy nose with noticeable oak. Medium-light bodied. Cherry and substantial oak on the palate. Medium length. Nice balance. Sufficient tannin, but bprdering on too much oak. Good QPR, especially for a Pinot Noir. Could improve with 1-3 years in cellar.
Day 3 - Wonderful PN nose. Lots of ripe cherry fruit and maybe some licorice. The oak is in harmony and this wine is delicious and balanced. Really opened up. Worth 1 or 2 more points. Very good stuff for the price.

This was an average Pinot Noir. Some red fruit on the nose with cherry leading. Same on the taste. Was much better after decanting for 1 hour. Served with pepper crusted grilled salmon.

Compared to a similar offering by La Crema, this did not fare so well. There was some nice red berry fruit and some acidity, but it lacked complexity. Muted on the nose. At a much lower price, Mark West provides a similar product.

Has evolved showing earthiness, forest floor; tart cherries, plums, cranberries; finish of toasted oak that has a sharpness to it

Berry and black pepper on the nose and palate with medium finish. A simple medium bodied wine.
