Drank 2 of these in the past two weeks. First bottle did not impress--lacked fruit and was more mineral driven. The second bottle was much better, with brighter fruit backed up by the minerality.

For me this was neither fish nor fowl. Not acrid enough to be typically steel aged and not buttery or oaky enough to be a classic CA chardonnay. Others in the group liked it quite a bit.

Paired with Freshly dug clams and linguini. Delicious pairing. Perfect acidity and mouthwatering aftertaste which complimented saltiness and herb flavor of thyme, lemon and parsley and red pepper.

Slight lemon/floral nose, moderate yellow in the glass. Plenty of acidity in the mouth along with a little cream, butterscotch and more tropical fruits. A little out of balance with too much oak and char for my taste. Seems to be more than the last bottle a year ago. Would have scored much higher if not for that. Still, good with fried chicken and a honey-mustard sauce.

Enjoyed with lobster bolognese over angel hair pasta.....lightly oaked, creamy, a little lemon, a little floral and good weight in the mouth. Acidity was balanced with the rest of the elements nicely. Medium finish of 20+ seconds. Goes down very easy. All 4 at the table liked it.

Solid Chard. Decent mouthfeel with some citrus and stonefruit. Drinks well now, but would certainly hold up for a few more years.

Pale straw. Lemon and green apple with a bit of minerality. A bit thin compared with the si glen vineyard bottlings.

Nice minerality with tropical fruits. Pineapple and floral notes make this a lovely everyday or special occasion wine.
