  • This took about 2.5 hours to open up, but once it got there was very enjoyable. Drank alongside the tasting menu at L'Ostrica. I will sit on the rest of my bottles a few more years. But you can tell this a quality wine

  • This one jumped out of the glass on the scent. Very generous on the nose of juicy red fruit type strawberries and cherries. It was probably precisely this immediately very accessible nose that made me mess around in Taillpieds. With the label unveiled and the fasit in hand, the elegance in the mouth, marked acidity and minerality became more apparent. Very elegant and light-bodied wine after time in the glass. This was still the wine I struggled most to understand. At times, it seemed like the least complex, before it struck with several nuances on the nose and taste. New things kept creeping in, but the wine took time to get started properly. Very good wine that I think will develop very nicely in the next few years and become even better and maybe even more immediately available.
