Interesting berry, cherry and brambly nose, but a serious lack of acidity makes this wine flabby and dull. Delivers on the fruit side. but falls apart in mid palate and finish.

Cherries all day and a little barnyard action one the nose. Very smooth and quite elegant mouthfeel. Very fresh/minerally and again cherries and some rashberries are dominant - not showing much else. Medium length. Solid everyday classic NZ pinot and I liked it, eventhough not much character or personally which makes it a little boring and overpriced.

I found this a little disappointing considering the £15 price tag. Not a patch on some other NZ Pinots I have tried. Looked a little dull in the glass, decent ruby colout, vegetal Pinot nose but excess acidity on the palate.

Mid red colour ,Typical PN nose and warm mid lenth in the mouth with zero tannins. Could only be New World , no terroir whatsoever but sound easy drinking , especially with cheese.

Very similar to the previous bottle we had back in March but this one seems to have shown quite a bit better all around, hence the 86 over the 84. Bottle variation??

Not that impressed by this one. Kind of a harsh aftertaste. Mid palate not much better. Too hot..Maybe some decanting would help, but no need go buy something else.

lovely cherry aroma and flavours but I thought this wine was a bit one dimensional and thin. I know, I know, ... it was voted best pinot noir by Cuisine but obviously I like my pinots more robust and gutsy while this was an elegant wine

Transparent dark pink to red in color. Very much a pinot noir on the nose. The flavors are quite fruit forward with a lot of cherry and red licorice. Not much of a finish. Price is nice and it was fun to try a pinot noir from New Zealand which turned out to be a good everyday wine.

A little bit effervescent on day one, pumped half bottle and day 2 was simply a different wine
84 day one , 88 Day 2 = 86

Dark purple red
Aroma: Cherries, strawberries and vanilla
Good body, concentration and texture. Plums and oak on the pallet.
Good length
Good wine, but you can find cheaper and still get the same quality
