Entey level auslese from Keller. Normally 100 % Morstein but in 2017 it is a mix of 80 % Morstein and 20 % Abts. E.
PnP. Beautiful nose with white fruit, tropical notes, lemon and a bit of grape fruit. It also have some top notes of white flowers. The palate is very fruity with a high acidity (laser sharp). Very long finish. The wine feels weighless in the mouth. Impressive balance. Nice stuff!

Nydelig ung auslese, hvit frukt, balansert sødme og god intensitet. Samtidig mangler den helt x-faktoren til f.eks Pius, som det er naturlig å sammenligne med.

Light pale golden colour. Sparkles on the palate. Featherweight. Super intensity and great energy. Acidity really enhances this wine. The balance is really impressive. Citrus and tropical on the palate. Hint of grapefruit. So young but so good.

The smell of Edelfäule combined with white flowers, vanilla and a whiff of peach, a very fresh taste with a very elegant ripe acidity; in the aftertaste the citrus bites gently on your tongue and the sweetness is 'packed up'. This is really very well but still not exceptional.

80% Morstein, 20% Abts E. This is usually 100% Morstein but there was not enough to fill the fermenting vat, so it's topped up with Abts E.
Lovely nose of Apricot, lemon, lime, orange, some pineapple. Hints of pretol and wax. On the palate incredible energy with very fresh acidity and heaps of exotic fruit. Very fresh despite the intensity, feels almost weightless. Very long.
In its infancy, but promising a bright, long future. Probably plenty upside if this is anything like previous vintages. Incredible QPR!

Tasted after 2017 Abts.E Spätlese. Not quite as vibrant and pure, but still very impressive of course. A bit more density and concentration, lovely acidity and a wonderful mineral backbone. very long. 92-93+

Real balance. Sweetness very apparent but elegantly offset by acidity and complexity. Light on its feet.

So good stuff!
Lite like a feather, but crisp acidity which balances the sweet fruit notes. Really good.

Young wine tasting "2017 - Einzigartig. Zum Lachen und zum Weinen schön" (Weingut Keller, Flörsheim-Dalsheim, Germany): A mix of 80% grapes from the Morstein and 20% out of the Abtserde. Very young and shy nose. Good concentration and racy acidity. Lean and elegant.
