This was the other bottle in our tasting groups first ZOOM tasting. Like the Sonoma-Cutrer I would probably give this another 5 points if not using the WSET style scoring sheet. This had notes of both pear and lemon on the palate and seemed drier than the other (reputation is the other way I know). Quite pleasant and may buy again.

PnP, chilled. Touch of matchstick and minerality on the nose. The medium to plus bodied palate provides stone fruits with touches of green apple and apricot, along with some lemon and minerality, all in nicely balancing acidity. Should hold for a couple of years. A pleasant presentation of unoaked chardonnay. The Mer Soleil website doesn't mention any Malolactic or extended lees contact, but I wonder??

Excited for this as I really like it. Some Golden Delicious Apple, lime, earthy notes with Honey on the finish.
Lots of depth and great finish.

Not a white wine fan but.... this has sour apple (Granny Smith) overtones, crisp, refreshing.

Light lemon, salty minerality, apple, loads of butter, not amazing but drinkable.

Soft peaches and apricots, lacking in structure. Pleasant. Unremarkable.

Very nice. Good everyday white. Lemon, apricot, and orange rind on the nose. Buttery, with richness of flavor from avoiding oak.

Unripe peach, stone fruit. A bit tart, but in a good way.
