Despite the reviews of others, this is a great QPR and hard to beat at $8.99. 13.5% ABV, which is lower than most Napa Cabs and higher-alcohol content New World wines. Color is fine; no indication of additives (as can be true of more pricey CA wines, reds and whites.) Dark fruits, vanilla, smoke; smooth on the palate. Great buy.

Okay industrial Cabernet, the character is mostly oak chip, the color has been enhanced with mega red, but the finish and balance are acceptable and it is not too sweet and in a vague way it reminds of Cabernet. Drinkable red.

A dark rich ruby, with strong legs. Nice dark fruity nose with a hint of oak. The pallet is a bit softer than expected, pleasant - just not the usual expression of Cab Sauv, not bold. Still lots of dark fruits (cherries, blueberries, black berries). Good value.

Literally nothing on the nose but a bit of oak, black fruit, and alcohol. medium tannin, med- acid. Nothing much to say about this, other than the price is good, at $10 or so. On the positive side, this could be used for making mulled wine, or in red sauces. 13.5% ABV. Not recommended.

I found this wine to be very similar to the 2015 vintage. The taste is very pleasant but does not have the roundness of more expensive wines. This wine is great for the price - $8. Pleasing to the crowd that drank it.

A little surprise here, smooth and rich dark fruits flavour, performs very nicely either on the nose and the palate, short finish!

Low acidity, slight alchohol heavy on the nose, dark fruit sweetness with some minerality/ cave on smooth finish. Wish it was a little brighter.

Decent mid week wine, but not as good as past years and Columbia Crest grand estates is a better offering at this level
