The nose is floral but not very distinctive. The mouth has commendable freshness, but it is dominated by an unfortunate off-dry feel. There is a reasonable kick in the finish, but not enough to outweigh the residual sugar. There is also an impression of dilution. Initially I was afraid that the bottle might be too cold, but in fact things worsen significantly as the wine warms up; is there a temperature that is cold enough for this wine? Not my style.

Strågul. Interessant og skiftende, middels intens duft av gul frukt, blomster, sitron, et svakt saltpreg. Fyldig med glatt tekstur. Først lett undermoden frukt som av friske grønne epler, så mer moden frukt, som av gule plommer/melon. Syren virker først litt lav, men kommer etterhvert. Svakt urtete, et lite bitterpreg. Ganske kompleks. Spennende vin.

Consistent with my previous bottle. Pale colour with spiced pear, apricot and almond. Pear and almond flavours with zesty lemon flavours with a creamy finish.

Second Magnum. Just lovely. Pre dinner and also with Talegio stuffed chicken. Depth of flavour good enough with the food also. Only two left (unhappy face). Day two as didn’t finish the bottle yesterday. Still good, not quite as crisp.

Easy to drink semi sweet white wine. Can be paired with food or sipped on a warm day. Tastes best slightly chilled. Floral and grapey aromas. Tastes of bright citrus, white peach, chalky minerals, cream and a velvety finish.

First had this in situ whilst on holiday in Italy. Found four magnums at auction. This is glorious citrus, minerals and a lovely creamy finish.

Pale, spiced pear, apricot and almond. Round pear and almond flavours with zesty lemon flavours with a small dollop of cream on the finish. Very good.
