Good concentration of red fruits and ripe black plums, toasted licorice, leather, espresso beans and eucalyptus. Palate is quite elegant with fresh fruits and hints of sweetness. Medium bodied. A decent Amarone which is easy drinking and fruity. Finish is clean and fresh.
Retasted in Nov 2021, did not evolve since the last tasting.

A pleasant and expressive Amarone on the nose, velvety and plummy, slightly autumnal, with rich aromas of fruit and spice (not unlike a Christmas pudding), but the palate is on the light side for such a big wine and the tannins are mild and drying at the same time; resonance and length are adequate. The nose is its best feature.

Previously tasted almost a year and half ago, this wine has made steady progress. Raisin, date, and black raspberry moving to black cherry on the nose. Medium bodied with deep red cherry notes upfront, moving towards black cherry through the middle. The fruit notes seem brighter, cleaner and a bit more defined than the last time I tried this wine. Mid-body started to show roundness and integration after about an hour open and by two hours, it had gained a good amount of expressiveness. Spices, earth notes and good acidity and tannins on the backside provide structure and work well with the mid-body depth. Should continue to improve on the integration front with more time and has both the structure and fruit to last. (Palazzo Preca Restaurant; Valletta, Malta)

Expressive nose of leather, clove, dark cherry, crushed blackberry. Densely packed fruit through the a rack and mid-palate that has considerable room for development but this is drinking well already. Lovely balance and feels quite fresh with good acidity actually making the whole package feel quite light. Very good.

Quite aromatic on the nose with structured cherry and pronounced earth notes. Medium bodied (15% ABV) and surprisingly accessible for an amarone this young. The cherry notes are much deeper and darker here and while still a red/black blend, this heads more to the black cherry side, especially as the wine gets denser and denser towards the back. Very good structure and a good amount of tannin, but for the most part, the deeper fruit is able to keep pace. Spices and earth on the finish, but not much in the way of leather or raisin notes as yet. Based on where the tannins are today and the density of the fruit, this should open up nicely over the next few years and improve as it integrates. Good mid-range amarone. A nice bottle of Amarone, nothing exciting anyway. Compared to a Bussola TB 2010 I paid double this was nothing

Well structured and integrated. A good, yet uneventful wine. Nothing special here.
