Definitely young, but rather approachable. Fairly textbook Pauillac, there was both depth and intensity as well as more softness than you'd might expect. Very good.

Floral, crisp, and fresh, with a touch of spearmint that sits on top of the red currants, and cherries. The wine is medium-bodied, open, bright, and almost vibrant on the palate and in the finish. Drink from 2024-2042.

Made from a blend of 80% CS, 17% Merlot and 3% PV. Deep garnet colour, ruby hue. Intense aroma of earthy cassis, blackberries, dried herbs, pencil lead, violet petals, leather, spices. Medium+ body, concentrated, structured and savoury with intense earthy flavours of black fruits, cassis, graphite, well integrated medium+ acidity and high mouth coating fine tannins.

Dark red colour. Lovely peppery smell. A little oak and blackcurrant. Balanced. Medium length. Could improve more with time in the cellar, but are drinking well now.

Cigar box, tobacco, crème de cassis and forestry create the aromatic profile. On the palate, the wine offers soft, polished, dark red fruits, spice, blackberry and tobacco. Nearly forward in style, this is a charming Pauillac that will age for at least 2 decades with little effort. The wine was made from blending 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot, reaching 13.6% alcohol.

Amsterdam UGCB Tasting and Winemakers' Dinner (Beurs van Berlage / Eden Hotel): Trade tasting, brief note. Very expressive, juicy and supple style, almost a bit sweet, cherries and cassis, gentle tannins, gently spicy, lovely length.
