Quite well-balanced young Bordeaux. Showing some maturity already. Dark berries, smooth. Not overly dominated by blackcurrants. Nice but not fantastic.

Not the best example of a Bordeaux. It never opens up. The acid is high and the taste is back of tongue No fruit, no forest, no aroma. Not a bad wine by any means; have it with a steak or chop, but not a typical Bordeaux from Pauillac. There are better.
A pleasant surprise for a 2017 Bordeaux. Very smooth from start to finish, just a slight turn to acidity in the finish. Ripe fruits, few and well integrated tannins. On the other hand, not a complex wine. Decanted 5h before drinking.

Deep ruby with purple rims, full bodied and strong tannins. Way too young to be fully appreciated. Black currants, tobacco leaf, licorice and cedar aromas.

Tasted on a Zoom function organised through BBR, with Jane Anson, Medium ruby. Dark fruits, plums blackberries, this is really good wine. I haven’t got any in the cellar, but after tonight’s tasting I will buy some.

The nose pops with black currant, tobacco leaf, licorice, cedar and forestry aromatics. On the palate, the wine displays freshness in the fruits and cream on the tannins. Medium/full bodied with a lot of black and red fruits, which carry through to the endnotes, this has both charm and age ability. The higher percentage of Cabernet adds complexity and character to the wine. Made from blending 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, the wine reached 13.25% alcohol. The harvest took place September 18 to September 29.

Blev dekanteret et par timer i forvejen. Vinen havde åbnet sig- mørk, fyldig og lang eftersmag. Brombær, cedertræ.
