Super gouteux et franc de goût. Sur le zeste, les ananas et les pêches. Des dattes et du caramel salé avec des épices et une pointe de botrytis. Super bon.

Beautiful honeyed perfume nose couple switch a bright yellow color. Drinking beautifully. Sweetness level slightly higher than my ideal but overall, just a wonderful example of sauternes.

Sweet honeyed tropical fruit, vanilla and honeysuckle with a touch of candied citrus peel invites you get into the wine a little deeper. The acidity is there to liven up all the honeyed tropical fruits.

2017 UGC Des Bordeaux, San Francisco, nose of hazelnuts, slate, honey, and English Roses, on the palate, medium body, very floral nose continues, tasty, mouth filling, needs 3 years to peak, slightly fruit forward, and a medium/long finish.

Moderate intensity with floral notes predominating over fruit plus some wet stone, nuttiness and oak influence. Full body matches relatively high alcohol. Repays closer scrutiny as complexity emerges from a relatively subdued start. LA UGC tasting.

Honey, banana, vanilla, apricots and – did I sense a Hawaiian fruit plate? A tropical bakery? Sweet ingenuity is all over the place here. The wine is voluminous with a clean lift in the energetic, apricot confection of a finish.

Very good value option - everything that a Sauternes should offer in unctuous flavours of peach and limonella/lemon. Good acidity as well.

fruits (peach, apples), and orchard flowers, honey sweet, tart and crisp. Aftertaste sensation is like eating a sugared grapefruit.

Amsterdam UGCB Tasting and Winemakers' Dinner (Beurs van Berlage / Eden Hotel): Trade tasting, brief note. Rich and fresh, but not as precise as the Rayne-Vigneau which preceded it.
