Pretty awesome wine, particularly for the price. A lot like a good quality Auslese - I don’t know that I could tell the difference blind. Good with dessert, on its own or anything in between.
I was inspired to pull it out after the featured it on the pairing menu in one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to (L’Ousteau de Baumaniere in Provence).
Golden color with quite a prominent aroma of yellow apple, lemon, cut grass, flint and honeysuckle.
Similar flavors. Medium sweet but perfectly balanced by bright acidity and very nice minerality. Fairly large body (for a white) and a good long finish.

Robe : Jaune clair, scintillant. Excellent

Probably time to drink up, at least with this bottle. There’s definitely elements of dried, sherried fruits, nuts, apricots, peach, and honey. Some florals on the nose and a viscous, waxy mouthful. Still enjoyable but definitely some sherry-like elements creeping in, which won’t be for everyone.

Lanolin, petrol, apricotpie, honey, blonde tobacco, some interesting vegetal and metallic flavors. Mature, medium sweetness on the palate, off-dry finish. Drink now.

Clear, deep golden appearance with viscous tears/legs. If appearance could talk, it would be saying - I'm a big and thick wine. The nose is clean, complex and intense - showing well developed wax, honey, dried apricot and even floral high tones. Definitely a wine with maturity and excellent condition to boot. The palate is full bodied, with medium minus acidity - but the wine is by no means fat or cloying. For a 13% ABV the off dry - borderline sweet - palate surprised me a bit. Still, the wine literally melts into candied nectarines and apricots. Oak surfaces in the mid palate and accompanies the long finish. Very enjoyable wine...

From 375ml. Classic Huet nose of tropical fruit intermingled with hint of cedar/sawdust. Mango, peach, nectarine, orange peel, lime cordial, vanilla and slate. Slight creamy texture. Fading acidity. Very tasty.

Dorato.

Really great acidity and balance. Less sweet than I thought it would be. Almost dry at this point. In a great spot.

Tasting with Noel Pinguet at Domaine Huet (Vouvray, France): Deeper and richer than the 2003 rendition and with a better balance. A really good wine that seems to have plenty of reserves for the long haul. 50+13+13+8.5+8.5=93+
