Old Bordeaux with Patrick back in town (Fabio's, NYC): Rich, botrytised tropical fruit and honey here, but there's also a faint TCA note beneath that ruins it. Damn.

Orange. Traditional, light, dancing on its feet. Freshness, minerality, medium length. G. Tasted at the Prinz von Hessen dinner in Schlosshotel Kronberg.
Seattle Tasting Group does 'Teutonic' Whites (Seattle, WA): AP# 21. Mint and a hint of tobacco leaf. Caramel, searing acidity, nice but not a ton of life left on this.
