Christmas port 2023. Very warm and great depth of flavor even at this young age. Fruit forward with terrific but subtle spice. Wish I had another 10 years for it to sit!

I drank this over the course of a few months (used Private Reserve to keep it fresh) and it held up well. Baking spices and stewed fruit. Very nice digestif.

Opened for Easter. Mom loved this. Intense fruit, spices, perfectly balanced and easy to drink. Of course it is very young, but even so it was perfect way to start and finish our meal.

First tasting of a young VP in years. Inky dense core with a bright crimson rim. High tone spirit lift. Blossom and cherry wood. Mulberry sauce. Intense but tight. Slightly oxidative edge but with fresh fruit. Clean and seductive. The palate is fresh. Sweet but balanced with acidity and tannin. Great density with a long fine even texture. Mulberry and sultana. Chalky tannins. Saturated palate. Amazing freshness and intensity. The evolution and development will be fun to watch.

Clear, deep, purple color Clean, developing, pronounced aromas of black currants, black plum, stewed fruits, vanilla, smoke, nutmeg, clove, figs, prunes, chocolate. Sweet, high acid, juicy medium tannin, high alcohol (20% ABV), pronounced flexors, full body, long finish. Flavors of black plum, black currant, fig, prune, nutmeg, smoke, cloves. Outstanding quality. Can drink now but has potential for aging.

Pop and poured Nose is light and floral palate needed some time in the glass to open up. Probably needed a decant. Started off sweet and light, reminds me of fruit punch, but darkens and gains complexity and backbone on the midpalate with a longer interesting finish. At this point I'm sensing I need to revisit this bottle tomorrow and over the next week. I suspect a classic baby was killed here.
Now open 5 days and there's been no noticeable improvement during nightly tastes. Actually seems hot and disjointed tonight. Maybe I'm just not a Warre Port fan. I love Dows...

Excellent; very deep black fruited, suave, plush nose. I like the balance here and it should mature brilliantly. This may well end up in the 95+ range eventually.

My favorite from the Symington Family, very approachable at this age. Black fruit, cloves, nutmeg, powerful yet refined on the nose. On the palate, I found a bouquet of raspberry, chocolate, velvety texture with an elegant finish. Highlight of the tasting, This just sings and is beautifully balanced from A-Z. Rich, layered and delicious.

2016 Vintage Port - the Symington Family Estates (Restaurant Entrepot Amsterdam): Of course a deep and young colour, some mint in the bouquet, very refined, everything is lovely. I wish however a bit more persistency, but maybe future will ad it to this port. 4,250 cases made.
