One of my first CdP Blanc white Rhone blend, and quite lovely that this is aged 5 years now. Rhone winemakers have their pick of grapes, and this happens to be made from Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette and other varietals.
Lovely sweet peach and apricot meets the palate after a mineral fragrant nose, and there's even a smoky rich mid palate to it. Surprisingly complex.
In terms of its drinking window, this is at its peak now so drink up this and next year. Lovely!
Thanks to bro @YL Leong for bringing this to our triple birthday gig at Ming Room in Bangsar, thanks to my Crazy Gang!

An easy 93+. Started too cold, this wine likes just a little chill, performs best just a bit under room temperature. A blend primarily of equal parts grenache blanc and roussanne with small amounts of clairette and bourboulenc also blended in. Highly recommend. Even though this wine is not inexpensive the quality makes it still actually a reasonable QPR wine. Surprisingly golden yellow - I usually associate that color with much older whites. Very smooth, just a bit unctuous with definite texture and a good mouth feel, clean, long lingering aftertaste, full bodied for a white wine and beautifully balanced. With proper cellaring this easily has at least another 3-5 years to go - will hold on to our last bottle for at least 3 years if we can resist temptation that long. A big enough and well structured enough white that this will actually pair well with a variety of lighter fare but also just a beautiful sipper on it's own. Aromatic intense nose of some butter and mild oak with superimposed honey, rose petal and an orange / tangerine note. Flavor profile initially citrusy with white peach and a warmer mid-palate of pear, a sense of burnt sugar or caramel with some baking spices and a hint of a more astringent lemon grass note on the very end.

GrandCuvee - CDP Dinner (New Ubin Seafood - Chijmes): Aromas of grass, hay and grapefruits, and later some barnyard and cheesy funk. A rather similar profile on the palate. Fresh acids, and a little weight. A pretty simple example, and should be drunk fresh and quick

Brief note. Nice fruity note composed of fresh peaches and other white fruit. Touch of herbs and minerality but a presence of oak I never noticed in the 2015 and 2016. Probably needs time to integrate and also needs to be accompanied by the right food as this is not a sipper. Quite good, but I find it a touch too oaky at this stage for my tastes, but probably just needs a little time. Less density than 2015 and 2016. 89

Nice nose, relatively honeyed and floral. Complex, some tropical fruits. Touch of oak spice; rich, very youthful but lovely build and flavours really fan out. Tropical citrus, touch of peach. Rounded - lovely mouthfeel even at this youthful stage. Pith on the finish.

Winery tasting from a bottle that had been opened prior day. No detailed notes but this was clearly one of our favorite CdP whites

Gold color. Petrol nose . Light body. Mineral driven. Sea salt, wet slate. Finish seems relatively short.

With snails and then cheese fondue. Excellent wine. Hints of minimality. Citrusy flavours. Too often forgotten for the red. Recommended.

Intense, floral notes combined with citrus and white stone fruit. Soft and fresh on the palate. Very balanced and highly enjoyable. Great wine.

Peach, apricot, apple peel. Medium length finish. Had higher expectations

First time among the round stones of CdP and Gigondas (Chateauneuf-du-pape, Gigondas): Clear straw
Grapefruit, citrus, apricot
Good acidity, honey, low alcohol
Citrus really comes out.
Very clean finish
Score is preliminary, of course
