Still intense deep red, this is still surprisingly primary on the nose. Rich, ripe Barossa fruit, plummy essence, toasty oak and more. Drinking very well. Now to 5-yrs, but will hold for 10.
ED: From a dozen sold by the winery as a back vintage special. I doubt I have the 5 left in CT, but I definitely have at least a couple. Must dig them out!

Like the last bottle this still seemed a little cooked, however there were some savory notes on the palate that I enjoyed. Definitely not a fruit-bomb and good value for the money ($20AUD).

Tasted a little cooked! The palate was enjoyable but not special. I found it to be a little over-oaked and not in the same league as the '03, which has much more fruit and far more richness. Lack of acidity suggests drink over then next 2 years.
