Had this up against the Coche and Boillot. This was the least favorite but all had a similar profile flavors. This just didn't have the same structure as the Coche.

Lemon lime, chalky limestone, white pepper, smoky butter and pears on the nose. Young and tight with pronounced minerality on the attack. Nice structure but just a hint of a hole in the mid palate that leads to a long sweet finish with lots of spicy pear fruit. Very good now, perhaps that mid-palate hole will disappear with some more time?

Solid, but outclassed in a line up with Coche and Boillot.

Very much enjoyed, even though it was a bit young. Love that the oak was tame and really let the fruit shine through. Took to Corton for dinner.
