Paired with Pannacotta and worked brilliantly as an accompaniment, actually amplifying the sweetness of the wine which is exactly what was required. A muted nose of honeysuckle and orange and pink grapefruit citrus with a bit of botrytis in the background. To taste all of the aromas followed through on the palate, medium body, good acidity and an elegant style. Not 1er cru Sauternes quality but nor is it that expensive.
