Mature and still alive. Muted fruit of cassis and blackberry. Lively tannins, acidity and good structure. If It weren't for the outgoing fruit it would still have a few years left. Very nice.

Dull/clear ruby - signs of age - once brawny and prple and ounding with fruit, still square shouldered with a lively nose. lots of vegetal - tar, turpentine, legume on the nose. spicy, potent yet nicely mellowed with age. My last of the set, which CSM made well. Their stuff held up well.

Interesting evolution, color has lightened to slightly transparent burgundy, fruit has become more subtle, balanced by more earthy, tobacco notes, still a backbone of dine tannin, what a treat.

Excellent wine! Had it with dinner tonight, it came straight out of the wine fridge, so I decanted using the Venturi to get some rapid aeration. Opened nicely. Starting to show some slight browning on the edges. I would buy another and let it sit for a while.

Garnet in color. Black raspberry, vanilla and a hint of cedar on the nose. Slightly better than the last bottle, a touch more complexity. Very good effort for the price. Always seems like the put forth a good OPP Cab.

Decanted, and drank with burgers, baked beans, and a huge fruitsalad. Decent inexpensive wine to kick off summer grilling. Berries, but not too fruit forward.

Not as nice as the last bottle we had, but still nice wine in the $10 price range. Straightforward Cabernet that is dark and shows lots of black fruits and some oak. Shortish finish. Very nice QPR.

One of my favorite everyday cabs. Vanilla and berries on the nose. Good balance of fruit and moderate tannins make this a very drinkable cab for less than $15.

For the price this is great Cabernet. Classic flavor, no real flaws, decent depth and finish. As others have said it's reasonably fruit forward, overall I found it well balanced. Very drinkable.

Received this as a host/hostess gift a while back. Popped and had with some stroganoff. Really quite tasty but not quite complex enough to get in to the 90s. Smooth with hints of lead, plum, cranberry and black cherry. But all pretty up front and no secondary layers of flavor.

Dark purple color. Herbal, minty nose. Berry flavors with some pencil lead. Finishes a little hot and slightly peppery. Not as bad as some of the reviewers have suggested, IMHO, at least not at this price.

Decanted 1 ½ hrs. Aromas of blackcherry and anis. Full bodied flavors of black currant and dark spices with strong notes of green herbs and anis in an oak structure. This has nice fruit flavors, but it’s a touch too much vegan.

Consumed at home with Puttanesca. Bright disc. Deep ruby robe with red rim. Clean nose, showing moderately intense black currants, plums, licorice, pipe tobacco and vanilla. Medium-bodied on the palate, with low acidity, medium sweet tannins and similar flavors as for the nose. While the mid-palate somewhat weakens, a medium-length, smooth finish is resurrected. Quite pleasant for the money, this wine should drink well for the next five years.

Served with Steak from the Brew Master dinner at Prarie Rock Brewry. Purple red. Aromoa was bright crisp strawberry a bit of astingent and hint of acetone. This was fruit forward with lots of red berry.

A terrific nose and still fruit forward after all these years! It was bricky and long on the palate. A wonderful wine; I wish I had saved more!

Crisp black cherry, some chalky tannins remaining, light cedar notes. Mild herbal notes and hints of spice. Soft, perhaps fading. Time to drink up.
