I can’t understand the people giving such a low score to this wine. It is a very good wine that shows a complete harmony on both the nose and the palate all with a typical German Riesling attributes including flowers, stone fruit and petrol notes along with excellent minerality. A very classy wine and a great qpr.

Well, the wine is not of bad quality, but I miss the typical Riesling in it. I believe the acicidy is too low and the taste too fruity and sweet. Although a young Riesling I cannot quite say that I felt freshness, which I like in young Rieslings. Low complexity (which is ok for the price) and medium finish (also ok). Overall not sure if I would recommend it.

There is some sweetness from the fruit that isn't fully compensated for by the acid. The "Trocken" sub label simply doesn't fit. On the other hand there are no real faults. Rieslingnose and pear. Shortish aftertaste. Nothing that will stick in my memory

Crispy brioche on the nose, not as ripe as '15 but its riper than '16. So a really great acidity but its coupled with very high extracts coming from frost and hail which lead to a natural yield reduction. They were lucky of only having minus 15% due to hail. But still the wines are ripe both in extract and acidity. Cold nights during harvest and they very happy with the vintage.
Very fresh on the palate and yet also more fleshy than I remember it in vintages past. Juicy has some weight. A little bit rounder on the palate I am being told and I would agree. It delivers allot of wine.
I am being told another vintage where they have to fight global warming. Warmth and also the extremes.

Light straw yellow colour. Green apples, lime and flint on the nose. Taste of green apples, lime, peaches, grapefruit and minerals. Long and dry finish. Good depth for the price. Great value for money. Goes well with fish, shellfish or sushi.

Only vineyards that contain slate. You get the typical signature of the winery and vineyards. Crisp and fresh is the style and the idea.
